This nine weeks we will be having a drawing to give away a Nook to three students who reach their teacher's AR goal. There will be a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade winner! More details to follow.
I need to borrow ebooks:) I got the Nook Color and I love it already. However, there are zero free books on it. Even the copyright free ones are at least .99 cents. I am a little surprised. However, the book subscriptions seem to be reasonable. I was thinking Field and Stream, Sports Illustrated for Kids, and maybe Seventeen. Any thoughts? I have a feeling this "free" Nook is going to get pricey.
BTW, how many books are in the library? I kept telling everyone 29,000...Is that right?
Good news! Please check out my new blog at:

ReplyDeleteWe are so lucky to have such a great librarian and an awesome library.
Wow! I wonder if that other school district in Greensburg gives away Nooks!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mrs. Kozuch for doing so much for the students at GSMS!!!!!
Now that Mrs. Kozuch has turned me onto reading can I win a Nook too?
ReplyDeleteI hope that the more you read the better chance yo
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous! I should be giving away Nooks at the high school library! You are making me look back! :)
ReplyDeleteBut seriously...what an awesome idea!
This is a good idea and I think it will really encourage kids to read. I know I would read more so i could possibly win the nook.
